Amber Dawn Sampson, 25, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009 at her residence. She had started high school at Gibson Southern and attended Stanley Hall School. Amber loved hanging out with her mother and spending time with her nieces, Mackenzie and Aubree. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and singing Karaoke. Amber loved her cat "Little Girl."

Her mother, Dana (Elverd) Sampson and her significant other, Jason Barrett of Henderson, KY; father and step-mother, Chris and Gina Sampson of Eloy, AZ; sister, Crystal Elliott and her husband, Brandon of Evansville, IN; grandmothers, Muriel Schmitt of Evansville, IN, Mary Ruth Bennett of Lewisport, KY; grandfather, Lonnie Elverd Sr. of Evansville, IN; uncle, Lonnie Elverd Jr. of Evansville, IN; nieces, Mackenzie and Aubree Elliott
Amber was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Kelsey February 14, 2001.
Funeral services are planned for 2:00PM Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. with Pastor Joe Turnbloom officiating.
Friends may visit from 12:00 noon until service time on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Browning Funeral Home.

Amber was a beautiful young woman. She was a daughter,sister, auntie, grandaughter and friend. Amber loved dolphins. She got to experance swimming with them a few years ago. She had the time of her life. She had many great frinds that loved her dearly. I have so many stories close to my heart, in my memory and forever they will remian. Amber was teh best sister a girl coudl ask for. We had ourt moments but what sibling don't? I wish I could have spent more time with her. We never expected her to leave us so soon. I do know, on her last night on this earth she had a great time. She was out having fun singing karokee,dancing and being around friends. Her death was so unexpeced by anyone. Amber was a sickly girl, but always bounced back from her illness. She is loved by so many people and missed dearly. She is always in our hearts.

hello my beautiful sister, it sure hard with you not around here at the holidays. This is our first christmas without you and its very hard. We miss you more than words can say. Mick is getting so big. She talkes about you everyday. Aubree is so big too, we tell her about her auntie all the time. Its so cute to hear her say auntie. I just wish you could have heard her say it. The baby to be is growing, were 10 weeks along now. This is our angel baby, we know you had part in blessing us with this miricle. I love and miss you dearly.

Well today was Aubrees 2nd birthday party. Wow! cant believe she is that old already. we missed you today, we do everyday but when we all get together its not the same without you. you bring us many smiles each day, we always think of you.it started raining today and mackenzie said auntie is up there making it rain and is stomping her feet. hehe. she always asks me why you went to heaven so soon. she wanted to spend more time with you. i explain the best i can that god needed another angel and he chose you. im sure your watchig over us everyday. we love and miss you Am... love always poot..

wow how i miss you. today is a pretty bad day for me. Yesterday i found somethign you made for me and ever since i have just been in shambles. It was the list of 20 things that made me so special to you. i am so glad you were so proud of me. I was proud of you too. You and I know you did a few little tings that were not approved by me but you knew i loved you with all my heart. your a hero of mine amber dawn. i love and miss you so much.
